The artist dispatch program was executed aiming of international exchange and contribution of fine arts with Leiden University in the Netherlands. "Japanese art program"

We conduct the second project, "calligraphy". For understanding promotion for Japanese art in foreign countries, we dispatch lecturer and have the lecture that covered history, theory and practice comprehensively. The implementation of this project will cooperate with our foundation and Leiden University.

The support to "KYOTO print 2005, Japan and Thai International print art exhibition"

This exhibition is held to invigorate the woodblock printing field in western Japan and to provide stimuli to young artists. It is an international exchange exhibition in the Biennale format. In 2005, we cooperated in an international woodblock print exhibition with Thailand, which has in recent years shown important activity in the field.

Implementation of "Japanese art program the 1st woodcut "

For understanding promotion for Japanese art in foreign countries, we have the lecture that covered history / theory / practice side comprehensively in some traditional fields of Japanese art in Leiden University
.With the cooperation our foundation and Leiden University, the first dispatch program held the lecture of woodblock print.

Founded "Commemorative Award of Saburo Miyamoto" in 1981.

In commemoration of the achievements of the artist Saburo Miyamoto, a noted western style painting, outstanding examples of representational western style painting are selected, the artists are given an award and a retrospective exhibition for the artists is held.

In recognition of the artistic achievements of Yukei Teshima, and to contribute to the advancement of calligraphic art, the artists active in the field of calligraphic were given an award.

2,The international exchange regarding the fine arts and culture

We introduced Japanese art and artistic culture abroad through sending artists and art historians to Harvard University in the US, and conducted lectures and taught techniques there.
Implement from 1982 to 1990.

Japan, China International print art exhibition
The Japan-China International Woodblock Exhibition, hosted by the Woodblock Print Kyoto Executive Committee, was held in Kyoto in 2001. In 2002 we sponsored and participated in the event held in Xian and Nanjing in celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the normalization of relations between the People's Republic of China and Japan.

We supported a concert with twelve cellists participating as a pre-event for
inviting Cassado International Violoncello Competition to Hachioji will be
scheduled to be held in 2004.(2002)
 
3,Donations of Japanese art objects (Japanese painting, calligraphy, and craftwork) to foreign art gallery and other museums.
