Purpose

| This corporation aims at aiming at and having
exchange of fine arts with many foreign countries, and contributing
to improvement and development of our country fine-arts culture
while it promotes an artist's exchange widely and encourages
the creative activity based on the tradition of Japanese culture. |

Project |
In order to attain the purpose of the preceding clause,
undertake the following enterprise. |

1. Holding of the exhibition about fine-arts culture.
2. Celebration of those with the outstanding achievements about fine-arts
culture.
3. Holding of the study group about fine-arts culture etc.
4. International exchange about fine-arts culture.
5. In addition, an enterprise required in order to attain the purpose
of this corporation. |

1981 Establishment with receiving the approval of Minister
of Education. |

1981 Established the Saburo Miyamoto
Award. In commemoration of the achievements of the artist Saburo Miyamoto,
a noted western style painting, outstanding examples of representational
western style painting are selected, the artists are given an award
and a retrospective exhibition for the artists is held. |

1982 Founded "Foundation for the fine arts Award".
It select the winner and award the trophy. |
| |
1982 Started the artist dispatch program to Harvard
University, U.S.A.. |
| |
1992 Founded "Yukei Memorial Award". It select
the winner and award the trophy. |
| |
2005 Started the artist dispatch program to Leiden
University, the Netherlands. |
